Dr. Spivey's Asthma Cure bottle....
Hi everyone,
I'm a new member and glad to be here! I've got a question: Does anybody know about Dr. Spivey's Asthma Cure? I have two mint, never-opened bottles inside their packages, each with an instructional "educational" pamphlet too. Has anybody dug one of these bottles up or find them anywhere? Any history about the company or "Dr. Spivey"?

There is a lot of interest specifically in cure bottles but collectors tend to stick to examples which are embossed.
Your early 20th c. bottle is one of thousands of brands - anyone could purchase cases of blank bottles, get some labels printed for cheap and go into business. No medical degree required.
These were the products of merchants and even individuals who sold door to door. You would be hard pressed to find advertising or any evidence of a business behind many brands.
