A Jancaster jaundice bitters info

Hiya folks, I have a small A lancasters Indian vegetable jaundice bitters bottle that has been spelled Jancasters. Just wondering if this would be significant or not concerning value etc

    Thanks for posting.

First off, your bottle is a modern replica or interpretation of similar 19th century bottles. Undoubtedly, this bottle was inspired by the common and well-known "ATWOODS JAUNDICE BITTERS"

These modern bottles were made by the Clevenger Brothers in NJ, some are also marked MADE IN TAIWAN on the base.

It is intriguing that you found an example with a variation of the more commonly known embossing. As collectors are discovering, there are a heck of a lot of mold variants out there. Some matter value-wise, others much less so.

I could be wrong but I do not believe there is much difference here in value over a typical example.
