what is my bottle worth?

I found an old liquor decanter in my closet. It is between 1944-1985, with the mark mtc. Also on the bottle it says, "Federal law forbids sale or reuse of this bottle. The numbers in the middle of the saying is 4301. Then a 2 mtc 52, an 8, then D-126. It does not have the top to it. It does not have any nics, chips, besides being dirty, it looks pretty good. I would like to know if it's worth anything and how much if so. Thanks.

  • According to my spreadsheet on Distillers and Rectifiers, I associate the D-126 mark with Seagrams and Calvert

The 52 marking MAY indicate 1952 - so many of these marks were for use by the manufacturer (mold numbers, batches, lots, etc) and do not necessarily indicate a date.
  • So, would you know how much it would be worth?
