Swenson & Co soda bottle?
I recently purchased a "Swenson & Co Inc, Newark, NJ" machine made soda bottle. Does anyone know anything about them? I've searched at length and have found nothing. Has a faint heel marking of "G 27". Thanks!

Researching companies is a lot like genealogical research - one often works pretty hard to find just small nuggets unless you get lucky and find some published research.
In the case of soda and beer bottlers, there once were thousands in the US.
Thousands.
So if you go to a site like Sodas and Beers, for most companies you will find just a listing of the bottles made, and maybe the years the company was in business.
You might start by seeing if you can access the Newark, NJ "city directories" to find listings which will tell you when they were in operation.
You might get lucky and find and advert or two in an old newspaper, or maybe if you are really lucky an article about the company.
