Help ID and value glass bottle

Hello, I just picked up two small glass bottles. I am guessing the bottles are mid century. These bottles come with glass lids. The one in the picture shows an airplane on the lid and the base. I am curious to know what these bottles are for, age, and possible value. Thanks for looking!

    Curious - not sure what they were used for but my hunch is that they are later 20th century based on some of the mold details.

    Thank you Chris! My first guess was inkwell but I am not sure how effective the lid is since it does not make a tight seal. The purpose may remain a mystery :)

    Glad to help. I am guessing there was cork or some other material for a gasket between the bottle and the stopper? That is not shown in the picture...
