Mystery Bottle

Small glass bottle with glass stopper and intricate wire decoration.
I purchased the bottle from a charity shop and have no idea of age or provenance
Size: 19 x 6 cm (7.5 x 2 inches)
I would be grateful if anyone could tell me more about the bottle

    My best suggestion would be a tourist trade bottle from the mideast....have seen other examples in this style of applied metalwork over the bottle or decanter.

    I do not believe this is more than about 50 years old. Almost certain I see a mold seam in the last photo confirming the bottle is machine made.

    If you ever get a chance, visit the Corning Museum in upstate New York. They have a great ancient glass display including examples of fake re-creations which have an scary ancient look to the glass.
