Identifying a decanter- may be great, may be nothing
Hello,
Since I am a seller of glass and collectibles I am so glad I found a site like this. I have a cool looking decanter I recenlty purchased at an auction and I just cannot find out who made it. I believe it could be a "nothing" from a department store or it may be something special that's why I figured I would ask some experts. It has no markings on the bottom but a circle on the base that has a "T" followed on the second line by a "CS". Here are some photos and I appreciate the look!

See http://www.eparks.com/store/category/26/305/Reproduction/
for an online catalog which does not include a bottle exactly like this but shows similar examples.
Your bottle imitates a 17th century "shaft and globe" style bottle. Original examples of shaft and globe bottles with applied seals are extreme rarities.
Best, Chris
