I would like to know the possible date for this 33 cm (wine?) bottle
I am working at an archaeological dig site with a class of sixth graders. We have mostly been digging up old bottles. By using the Internet and the Antique Trader Bottles Identification and Price Guide we have been able to identify and date most of our finds. One very interesting bottle stands out, and I'd love to be able to find out what it was used for and approximately when it was used. It's a 33 cm clear bottle. The seam only extends to just over the shoulder of the bottle. We cannot find anything like this bottle on the Internet nor in the bottle book. I'd appreciate any info I could get about it.
