Question and Answer
I found this bottle scuba diving. I can not find an example of this bottle listed in any reference books. Does any one know of an example or can any one tell me anything about the bottle

Great find.
The book you need is long out of print and hard to find - "Understanding Antique Wine Bottles" by Roger Dumbrell.
Chapter 10 is devoted to sided wine bottles of the 18th century. Yours is English in origin and probably 2nd quarter 18th c.
This form is much more scarce than that commonly seen onion.
