The Revi book is the only one ever published on figural bottles that I am aware of. There is a major collector of figural bottles who is working on a new book which I am sure would be received well by the collecting community since there is a real shortage of knowledge in this specialty.
Thank you, I hadn't even noticed the M.G Husted marking on the bottle. So I searched and found this. http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Husted-95 Its very interesting. I want to sell it but I am starting to get attached to it. Question would this be an original or do you think there are rpro's?
I am not specifically aware of repros of this bottle. However, I recently saw one on ebay in a ruby red color which struck me as too good to be true. I suppose that one could have been sprayed with a red lacquer.
If yours has the Husted embossing on the bottom, I would be fairly comfortable that it is the real deal.
