Has anyone heard of the Peoples Bottling Co based in Akron Oh?
Years in business and what they sold?
soda or Alcohol?

I can not seem to find any information on them.

I wonder if The Peoples Dairy Co was affiliated with The Peoples Bottling Co.
Makes sense since they were both in Akron in the 20's.

My grandson just brought me a bottle from a garage sale that says "Bayers sparkling breverage". The bottom of this very thick glass says "Peoples Bott.co made in Akron, Ohio 1942. Hope this helps.

My research has found The Peoples Dairy Co., was founded by proprietors Fred W. Fuchs and Charles P. Kennedy who incorporated it for $75,000 in 1924 as a sister company to the Peoples Bottling Co. Since this post, my research has found Peoples Drug Store, Peoples Dairy, Peoples Bottling Company that are the known ones in the Akron area in the 1920's. Then in 1929 was bought by the Bordon Co. out of New York. Akron was definitely the place to be if you were into Bottling and Dairies.
