Old Brown Flask of unknown age first noted by my grandmother in the basement of their granary 50 or 60 years ago. The bottle is 7 5/8" tall and 4.5 inches wide. Do not know if this is a 19th century original or a 20th century reproduction. Portrait of George Washington on the front, 2 ships on the back. The bottom suggests it is a number #1. My grandmother knew it was a pictorial flask, but no one in my family knew this existed until she passed away in 2003. Helping my parents with moving, I removed the note attached to the bottle and was the first person to ever read the note where my grandmother stated it had a value between $10 and $800. Once again, the note is very old in appearance, but of uncertain age. Can anyone help? Thanks. http://forum.antiquebottles-glass.com/uploads/762/LIS2OCG0QGSV.jpg http://forum.antiquebottles-glass.com/uploads/791/TMG1DP1WJ4UF.jpg http://forum.antiquebottles-glass.com/uploads/055/J21YJFUQJQ8D.jpg
