Need help identifying this bottle, Prohibition Era

I have searched all over the internet and cannot find this bottle. I know that it is a liquor bottle made by Owens-Illinois Glass Co. "Has Federal Law Forbids Sale or Re.Use Of This Bottle", it is 8 inches tall with a trumpet style opening and the seam on the neck is about 1 1/4 " from the top and it is 6 inches wide in the middle. The bottom has the Owens-Illinois Glass Co. logo with the diamond with a 1 with a circle around it. The letter D 8 is above 65 53. There is an oval line surrounding all of that. I am attaching the pictures. Thank you for your help!

  • Hi Judi - Welcome and thanks for posting.

In my notes, I have seen a bottle marked D-8 on the base which had labels from Kentucky Tavern (brand), Glenmore Distilleries, Owensboro, KY

One can likely infer from the other #s on the base that this dates from the 1950s or 60s.
