Hi, found this Ballantines bottle (awaiting response from the company) and wondered if anyone could possibly date it?? It has also the figure 2 and ACW embossed at the bottom. Many thanks

    The ACW may actually be AGW for American Glass Works, in operation through the mid 1930s. Your bottle likely dates from the 20s or 30s.

    Many thanks for your response, yes could be AGW. Found it in an old house in Corfu, Greece!!! Lots of other little ones too. Always nice to have a little history on these things for when friends come to visit!! Also waiting for a response from the company still, but think it will be the same.
