Is it just me, or is there an "F" where there should be an "E" on this old canning jar? I would say it's NOT so "perfect" after all!

Mistakes happen and historians spend years documenting them :-)
This is a known mold flaw. I find 4 "error variants" listed in the Red Book of Fruit Jars, #8. It appears as jar #2151
