8 or 10 ounce Clear Bottle

I found this bottle in the forest in central California. The only mark is on the bottom. It’s a reversed S in a horizontal diamond. It also has a lot of small bubbles and some wear around the bottom like it was reused. Near it was a broken Baby Bunting rubber nipple bottle that I think dates to the 1930s.

I found that the Southern Glass Co had a similar mark, but nothing about a reverse S. I’m guessing that it was a soft drink bottle from them but I’m not sure. I also found the bottom of another bottle with the same mark.

Hoping for confirmation, or any other information.
