I think it's a shoe polish - guessing from around the 50's. I have a few of these and some are tinted aqua. I'm not a collector. The first pic is of ones like yours- the next three are of one (i dont have it anymore) a screw top - same shape/size with side embossing - I think the word 'white' (maybe all white?) was in it. Sorry but these are the only pics i have of it. Sadly, these were taken before i learned how to take better pics. When researching my bottles - I came to the conclusion that the cork mouth ones - were earlier ones like the screw top. Hope this helps I'm glad i was able to find the pics
