1879 Pharmacy find....help?
I had the chance recently to a private tour of the basement of an 1879 pharmacy here in Pa. On a shelf were several large brown jug/bottles, maybe 12-18 inches high, simply labeled "Patent Smoke". No one knows what they are and there still is contents inside. Any ideas?
