bottle info please

edited November 2011 in Question and Answer
I have a very small teal blue bottle with a bent neck. It has W.T. & Co mark on the bottom with the number 832 under the company name. It is only 3 1/2 inches tall. I have been unable to come up with much information. Can anyone help? Thank you!

  • The shape (bent neck & small features for easy grasping by little hands) suggests a nursing bottle, for feeding the baby it's milk. Would have had a rubber nipple. BobB
  • I will have to disagree with Bob on this one; I am not aware of any nursing bottle in this shape.

The shape is reminiscent of Sandwich Glass cologne bottles so that is my first guess. However, the lip, color and shape also suggest a miniature food or sauce bottle; the more I reflect on this bottle, that is emerging as my best answer.

Lastly, that blue-green color was infrequently used for druggist bottles, although I highly doubt the use was for medicine.
