Vintage Seagram's Jug/Bottle
I obtained this Seagram's jug/bottle from a recent sale. It's very neat -- measures about 7" x 4" and is a 4/5 quart size. It's dark amber color with a gold colored plastic or metal screw-on cap which has the Seagram's mark. The bottom states: Federal Law Forbids Sale or Reuse of This Bottle. 7A D23 65 58. The bottom of the bottle is not flat -- it has a cone shape that is concave up into the bottle. Is anyone familiar with this bottle? Haven't been able to find one like it on the internet. Wondering about age -- if the numbers on the bottom are correct, could it be from 1958? Very cute little growler! Any information or interest?
