this bottle has a old small label that says it was imported from ???? by beverage distributors inc. out of clevland ohio. I called and they had not dealt in wine for 26 years but they have been around since 1933. the person i talked to was not able to direct me anywhere...can someone help with this or have a clue of the age or round about worth

Yes, mid-20th century sounds right. To get more accurate than that you need to hit the streets and do some serious research on this company. You can search old phone books or business directories to establish when a company was around, but good luck finding any specific info about a small business.

AND...bear in mind this bottle was made by a bottle manufacturer somewhere / anywhere in the world....Italy? another European country? Hard to pinpoint.

It is neat, it is dramatically big. Not much bottle collector value but perhaps some novelty / decorative value.
