I found 3 wine bottles at an estate auction

One Gallon Garrett's American Wine bottle. It's clear glass with grapes and vines on the entire bottle. The bottom is imprinted with "DESIGN PATENT APPLIED FOR" and an Oval type O with a C through it. If anyone has any idea what the year of this production is, I'd appreciate any help. I also have 2 decorative wine bottles. One is dark green with a swirl type pattern on the top and bottom; the other is a clear glass with a hint of green (not entirely clear) and it has leaf patterns on the top and bottom. Any response is appreciated.

    Got photos? They would be necessary to really help you with dating.

    My guess is that you can find some info on the Garrett Wine Co...search for it.

    Finding a design patent can be a real challenge, even if you know the approximate year of issue. The applicant is often an individual, not the company so it making searching difficult.
