Roth & Co Whiskey - San Francisco

edited June 2013 in Question and Answer
This bottle was found at an old mining camp outside of a town called strawberry in Northern California many many years ago. It is dark amber color 12 inches tall has an internal screw cap that's made out of a concrete type material. It reads Roth & Co on the cap. On the front is a circle and inside reads Roth & Co full quart San Francisco cal. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Any value at all? Thanks cheryl..

  • see photo, bet your bottle looks like this.

The stopper is rubber or more likely gutta percha. Definitely a plus if you have the stopper.

Condition is very very important, collectors are fussy about condition. A clean example with just a few lip flakes recently brought around $25 on ebayimage
