I would like to know how to post a picture of a bottle I found in 1968 buried in some old garbage behind the remains of a remote cabin. it has a very pale greenish tinge -a square shape with dimples and swirles , and with bubbles small and some large. the neck leans to one side slightly, also raised glass lettering one side - william whiteley leith re use of bottle prohibited and other side says whiteley leith scotch whiskey. thanks

I have never seen one like this one on the internet. I have only seen later model ones with clear glass. does anyone know the exact age or how rare this might be

I cannot claim to have quite the extent of knowledge of UK bottles as I do of US.

This is an interesting piece - the glass surface is highly whittled which is something collectors like to see, and it appears to have an applied lip. I would date this to the third quarter of the 19th century.
