is this an apothecary jar counter display?
I bought this Jar from an old ranch estate. I have done quite a lot of research but am not sure what I have. I have attached some pictures. The fluting us on the inside, the outside is smooth. It has a "C" on the bottom. There are some small bubbles in the glass. The bottom is not quite smooth it has an almost windmill look in the light, I'm guessing a continuation of the fluting. The lid has some hash marks near the top again it looks like something connected to the fluting. I would like to know the approximate age, style, and value. Any insight would be appreciated.
