white's cream vermifuge

What was this used for? Any idea how old it is? It has a screw top and the neck of the bottle is slightly bent. Poorly made? The bottom has an "N" in a box followed by a 9. Or it could be a 6 followed by the "N".

Vermifuge is for treating worms. Bottle dates from about 1915 up to the 30s or 40s I would say. The box N mark was used by Obear-Nester Glass Co of Toledo, OH. This mark was used after 1915.

I suspect your bottle got disfigured while in a burning trash pile, not at time of manufacture.

One sees a number of popular medicines in the 19th c for treating worms so I guess this was an issue back when.
