help to identify this old beer bottle for me.

it has a 68 on the bottom of the bottle, i don't know if that's the year or not, but after checking around on the web, and typing in the numbers on the bottom, i want to say it's older, and i'm more confused, and help would be great,

    Please describe the symbol/mark on the base...perhaps provide a photo of a rubbing? (your photo is not clear) The mark is between the 7 and the 68...this may help ID the manufacturer.

    it looks like an H with a circle around it

    if the mark is oriented as shown in the drawing below, then it is an "I" not an "H" - this would be the mark of Owens Illinois. This mark has been used since the mid 1950s.

    i'm sure that's it, my eyesight is not what it use to be, any idea what brand, etc.
