Apothecary Jar Info/date
I’m posting this jar I found at the thrift store. When I purchased it, it was covered in clear packing tape. After getting home and cleaning it, I think this jar might have some age to it.
It’s wavy glass. You can just tell by holding it...it’s not the run of the mill container. So I’m going to post some pictures and see if anyone has some information to help me out.

It looks to me to be a museum specimen jar, an older example. It might have never been used, or for years it might have held a fish or snake pickled in formalin or alcohol.
