Are stoppered chemical bottles safe to use for vinegar ? (Lead in glass)
I'd like to use this type of bottle to store vinegar in. Are they safe to use for liquids that will be consumed? I don't know if they contain lead.

I found this page on the Corning Glass website:
Bottom line is you do not know what the lead content of older glass might be. As I understand, lead is not the only additive to glass to make it clear but it might be present.
