Need Help Identifying Dark Aqua Green Bottle With An X On Base
I found this bottle while digging in South Carolina. It’s approx. 9” tall and is embossed with what appears to be JSP or JSD. There’s an embossed X and an engraved X on the base of the bottle. It has a seam on each side that runs up the sides and neck then stops.
I would like to identify the manufacturer, date and value. I have researched online but haven’t been able to find any info on this bottle. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for posting. I would say this is a teal green rather than aqua.
JSP is JS Pedersen who I think was an agent for TARRANT Company, an importer of malt extract. Your bottle is later 19th century. The advert below is from 1891.
