Help identifying a bottle - prohibition or barber bottle possibly???
Hello - I am new here and was hoping someone could help identify a bottle for me. I was told it was a "barber bottle" but I do not believe that is correct. Please see the attached pictures. The bottom is embossed with "federal law forbids sale or reuse of this bottle d379". Thank you in advance.

It does have the appearance of a barber bottle - on that much I agree. However, the "Federal Law Forbids...." text is there because it was required, for a time, to be on all bottles containing liquor.
This general style is kinda / sorta similar to what is called "Mary Gregory"
