Trying to find background info on my bottle - Losee & Hatfield; L&H Registered Trademark; Fort Hamilton, L.I.
Date on bottom is 1887. It is a glass beverage bottle with very pale light green hue. Has weight to it. It was unearthed in Brooklyn, NY years ago and almost looks new. I can not find any information on this anywhere and would just like to know what was in it and about this company if anyone knows.

This is a Hutchinson soda, named after the guy who invented the stopper for this type of bottle.
Yours has what is called a "mug base" - the flat panels - like vintage beer mugs.
