Small brown bottle with cork needing identification

This bottle was found in 2005 in southern Oregon near one of the many "china ditches" that are here. The cork was still in place no label was attached. It's brown/amber in color and is approximately 3" x 2" in size.
It has long lines running down all sides but the very front center, and it also has small dots (which look closer to backward C's to me) that run around the base of it at the bottom
I believe that one mark maybe from Owens-Illinois Glass Company but not clear on the year it could be or what the bottle was used for.
Any and all help would be appreciated
Other things I noticed was a strong circular ring at the bottom and what looks to be a 4 a 7 and maybe a 1 or another symbol

  • Right, I also see what appears to be an Owens-Illinois mark. Definitely a machine made bottle, 20th century.

Not exactly sure as to use - medicine or poison is a best guess.
