Old medical bottles (pics)
My grandfather kept all these old medical bottles. He is the one that applied the whiteout and markings on the bottoms for his own cataloging. I literally have about forty. Any information would be greatly appreciated! Here are five of the unique ones. The others all look similar, just with different labels. Any actual worth or dates? He left them to me, I'll probably pass them on.

Looks like you have some late 19th and early 20th century medicine and pharmacy bottles. These are quite collectible - it is hard to tell from your photos as to exactly what you have.
Value depends on condition of label, visual appearance of label (are there any graphics along with the text) and contents. Some collectors go crazy over illegal narcotic ingredients like heroin and morphine.
Would be interesting to know what your grandfather's coding system means. I will take a guess and say the 74 might mean 1974. Who knows about other #s
