Do you know what these Tooth & Co bottles were used for???

I have several of these old bottles and was wondering what they would have been used for back in the day. They say "Tooth & Co Ltd West Maitland 2".

I am after as much information as possible on these like what they were used for, what era they were used, how much you think they would sell for and so on.

    It took me a moment to recall the correct term for these - flagon. These stoneware jugs were for bulk transport of liquids: alcohol, ginger beer, etc. They are approximately 100 years old.

    I am not familiar with the current values of UK/AU stoneware.
