My contractor found this bottle in my yard while digging. please help identify? thanks!

the bottle is textured from about the bottom of the neck down. embossed on one side is "no deposit no return" and on the other side is "not to be refilled" the bottom has a 12, a 47 and .77 on it. also an A in a circle. The seams go all the way through the lip of the bottle. Any help would be appreciated! I'm curious about the year , and also what was in the bottle, as there is no other label.

  • Do I see a different antique bottle forum showing on your laptop? :-)

The A in the circle is likely for Armstrong Cork Co. in PA which sold out to Kerr in the late 60s. Who knows when they stopped using that mark.

This is a beer bottle from the 60s or perhaps 1970s.
