clear whiskey bottle

edited May 2013 in Question and Answer
I have a clear bottle with no distributer, date, stamp, or identifying marks other than on the front it states Registered and full quart. It has a lip on the top of bottle. It also has a big indented circle in the middle of the bottle. Also there are many air bubbles in the glass. See pictures. HELP PLEASE!

  • Generically speaking, this is a strap sided flask. Such bottles were manufactured in large quantities and sold to bottlers/distributors who applied their product label.

Your bottle is late 19th c. or very early 20th century.

This bottle has etching to the glass which can only be cleaned by a tumbling/polishing process.

    These are quite common.
