Small Amber Bottle

Found this in the old Vienna, GA City dump. I can't find anything similar to it. The dump was closed sometime before the 50's. It is threaded, has mold lines on both sides, has vertical ridges around it, has a blank place (no ridges) where there must have been a label. It has raised dots or stars around the top and bottom, above and below the ridges. It is amber glass. There are no markings except for the number "3" on the bottom. The bottom is dimpled with a strange dent in the bottom. It is only about 3" tall. Anybody have any ideas?

  • Hello and welcome - it's probably a medicine or pharmacy bottle, perhaps one containing pills.

  • Age-wise it's mid 20th century.
