what the heck is this?

I was looking for any information on this bottle..it stands about 8 inches and is in great shape. I am just learning on how to determine age, so i am guessing that it is after 1900 due to the seam, however the seam does not go over the lip. The glass itself has a few bubbles and imperfections i.e. globs..the only print is on the bottom which says MC UCDO 11 any input would be appreciated thanks!

    This is not a typical poison bottle shape but cobalt blue is a common color for them. There are a few poison bottles with the same U.D. Co. marking on the base.

    It is probably reasonable however to assume it contained some pharmaceutical / medicinal / poisonous substance.
