Carboy from 1929

I have a glass carboy with 1929 stamped on the bottom. It also appears to contain a mark from Owens Illinois Glass Company. I cannot see any other markings to determine where it was manufactured. Any information on the manufacturing location, original purpose, and current value would be greatly appreciated.
