Aqua tint wine bottle with no markings

edited October 2012 in Question and Answer
No embossing, no seam, air bubbles. About 12 inches tall and 3 inch diameter. Could it be worth something?

  • This is of course a very typical wine bottle with a "push up" base. The absence of mold seams suggests it could be a 100 years old or so.

Bottles of this basic shape are very common. If you had one that retained its original label of the period, or it was hand blown with very nice glass texture and appearance then it could be worth $20 to $50. Unfortunately, a plain one is not worth much of anything.
