Valverde bottle

I have a bottle, the size of a standard beer bottle and has a slight blue tint. It is embossed on the glass as Valverde Bottle Works, Pascagoula, Miss. Nobody in my city has any information (ie. age, value, etc) and I was wondering/hoping someone here could provide some information. There are no chips in the glass.

    Todd Van Mechow's Soda and Beer site mentions two Hutchinson sodas from this bottler, but not a crown top like yours.

    There were thousands of bottlers in the US at this time (early 20th century) Unlike today, these were small, local operations. Not much is known about most of them.

    I can say there is a good collector market for local bottles.. I would guess there are a few collectors out there who are seeking Miss. bottles or perhaps even just Pascagoula bottles.
