Help! What is this bottle? Just curious.

Hello! Found this bottle by the columbia river in oregon. Curious what it is and possibly how old? Looks like it says 7 and a symbol then 7 again? Then 14 below it. Probably about 4" tall. Thanks!

    The "Circle I-O" mark on the base (capital I inside capital O) is the mark of Owens Illinois - they have used that particular mark since the mid 1950s.

    Your bottle has the remnants of a very oxidized metal cap. I am thinking this probably held some type of medicine, but possibly also some food product.
