I need help identifying this, looks like old whiskey flask

All the swamps are drying up around my house, first time i have ever witness there not being water in these areas, in the mud their seems to be all types of glass bottles, didn’t want to get to dirty today but tomorrow I will do more investigating

    Always a good opportunity to search when water levels get low! I drove by an old mill pond the other day that had been drained, but unfortunately did not have time to investigate...

    Your bottle is mid 20th century and if it contained liquor would bear the required "FEDERAL LAW FORBIDS...." embossing. The mouth on this bottle also seems a bit big to be drinking from. I think this held a food product or liquid household product.
