Owens Illinois bottle
Hello,
I found this clear glass Owens Illinois bottle in my yard earlier this week. It is about 11 inches tall. It has a 2 to the left of the diamond oval mark, 8 to the right and 0 to the bottom. It has a single line i in the middle. All I can find is that it is from 1938. However, I would like to know what it was used for and its value. Thanks.

Plain bottles of this era have little or no value unless they have a nice graphical label and are in very good to excellent condition.
