Found this diving. Appears to be rare. Small chip at the bottom. Wondering if anyone would know the value of this one.

    It is a rare bottle but the condition does hurt. Pontil or smooth base?

    This is what I call an "academic bottle" - it has a value to the serious collector who is into all the details and molds. It is also clear glass, another intriguing variation.
