Found this deep purple bottle in an antique store and was wondering its history

I’m a little newer to collecting antiques however I absolutely love medicine bottles so when I found some small glass bottles in an antique shop I had to grab it. They were found buried in the area and 2 out of 5 are bitters bottles the one I’m talking about here is a deep purple bottle with twelve sides, a seam that goes all the way up, very minimal wear down and is covered in writing on the bottom it says “made in Taiwan” with a circle with US in it on one side it says A LANCASTER’S INDIAN VEGTABLE JAUNDICE BITTERS” and on the other side it says “COL SAM JONSTON PROPRIETOR RICHMOND VA 1852” it has a cork in it however the shop owner most likely put it there. Information including history and appraisal would be greatly appreciated
