Infos on medium blue-green medicine bottle 4.75"
Hello,
I’m new to the forum, but I have a fascination with old glass bottles. I'm from Germany, but I'm hoping you all might be able to provide some general information about this small bottle I found in my backyard. Based on what I can tell, it seems to be a medium blue-green color, about 4.75 inches tall, and approximately 1.5 inches in diameter.
The mold seam runs up to the neck and appears slightly smudged near the opening. There are quite a few irregularities on the bottom, and the opening isn’t very circular. I also noticed some air bubbles around the neck area. The base has no pontil marks or symbols, except for two small dots.
I’d like to know the time period when it might have been produced and a possible use case for this type of bottle.
Thank you very much in advance.
