Ceramic Brown
When I bought this, the seller told me it was a vintage "Vernors Pop Bottle". I have been researching and I am pretty certain thats not the case. I"m thinking it was for beer? Or I even saw one that looked very similar to a French Bed Warmer?!!
It is ceramic, very heavy, it has a coppery brown glaze, a ceramic stopper. It has NO markings anywhere, except one it looks like it says "0 5 1" then "M K M" under that. The neck of it has an area that is flattend, not rounded to blend with the flow of the bottle.
Any idea of what this actually was used for, age, or value?? Any information is greatly appreciated!! Thank You!!

The "Lightning" type stopper (found still on Grolsch beer bottles) was patented in the late 19th century, but is still used a bit today.
