What is this bottle? I paid $3.99@ Goodwill
What is this bottle and how old is it? Anyone know anything about this?
The mold seam goes up to the bottom of the lip but the lip looks like it is attached. It is aqua and the base is smooth. The bottle is in pretty good shape, no chips or cracks. The bottle is 14" tall.
I don't know what this bottle really is, it might be a demijohn or carboy. It holds about 1 liter (72 oz) of liquid. It has two vertical seams. One is a stronger feel seam and one that is a weaker feel seam. It has a seam along the bottom and the bottom is slanted. It ranges from 1/4 " to 1" thick on the slanted part of the bottom. It has many bubbles and blisters on it. It is smooth to the feel on the outside, but the inside is hammered or looks like thumbprints. There is also a seam that is horizontal about 3/4's of the way up from the bottom of the bottle.
I saw it and I liked it so I bought it for my husband who makes limoncini and I thought it would look nice in it!
